How My Journey Began

Welcome! I’m Beth Walters, founder and owner of MKE Style Concierge. I’m so happy you found us and I want to thank you for taking the time to learn about what we do. Fashion & personal style are passions of ours and sharing that passion with others is a dream come true.

A little about me, I’m a Wisconsin native, born and raised in the Brookfield/Wauwatosa area. I define my personal style as simple chic, classic and professional. Additionally, I appreciate a small and often quirky element of surprise within each outfit! I like to keep it fun and never miss an opportunity to do so.

My biggest fashion inspiration came in my 30s. I was a flight attendant and enjoyed immersing myself in the fashion and style of cities across the country. LA, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas and New York were all so unique. Each city had its own set of fashion rules and boundaries. I found it incredibly interesting.

The proverbial “cherry on top” for me was traveling to London, Paris and Italy. I knew I was hooked on the art of fashion. I could sit for hours immersing myself in the style of each city. For me, fashion isn’t just clothing we wear. Fashion reflects culture, what is happening in the world and the general feelings and attitudes of each city and its people.

There is an on-going debate on whether fashion is truly an art form or simply fluff. To me, there is no question. Fashion is art. Wearable art.
